[check out our camp photo album on facebook!] what is summer camp? project 10 (p10) summer camp is a place for lgbtaq+ youth 14 to 25 years old to join with other lgbtaq+ youth for a weekend in the woods to relax, deepen connections, build confidence, and just have fun in a safe bilingual environment. you can participate in a range of activities from swimming and hiking to crafting, leadership activities, workshops and even a talent show! when is camp this year? camp takes place july 6-8 2018 where does the camp camp take place? base de plein air bon départ http://www.bpabondepart.ca 4610, route principale, wentworth-nord, qc, j0t 1y0 t 450 226.3336 accomodations: http://www.bpabondepart.ca/h%c3%a9bergement/auberge what do expect at camp: camp has basic amenities: drinking water, power, spotty wifi indoors: gender neutral washrooms, showers, common room with sofas, cafeteria/dinning room, infirmary, all rooms beds, drawer for clothing storage, a small cupboard, sink and a mirror (14 rooms with between 3-5 beds in each,) power outlet outdoors: grass, camp fire area, access to beach and picnic tables, forests nearby overall sites accessible by wheelchair meals, coffee, hot chocolate, juices & snacks included at specific times of day access to swimming*, hiking* (*organized at specific times), crafts, sports, workshops, campfires, a talent show and more! what is included? camp includes transportation to and from montreal to camp, meals, activities and accommodations. how do i apply to attend camp? submit your application for camp! (complete this form) — deadline june 21st 2018 (first come first served) wait for email confirmation* -* in the case where there are more applications than spaces, p10 may have to turn away some campers. p10 will communicate confirmations to applicants by email the week of june 18th 2018. -email confirmation will also include a what to pack list, what to expect, and some basic information about this year’s camp. apply between may 24th and june 21st, first come first served. how much is camp? 5$-275$* *camp fees are on a sliding scale/by donation. if you are unable to afford the minimum fee, please contact project 10 to make an arrangement. the true cost of running camp is about 275$ per participant (which includes meals and snacks every day, accommodations, transportation to and from the site, supervision and facilitation of activities, including special activities like hikes, swimming,etc.) so we ask that you consider contributing an amount that feels affordable for you. how can i donate to support camp?
